分子药理学与创新药物研究。主要运用药理学思维,依托分子与细胞生物学等先进技术平台,发挥整体动物研究特长,实施转化医学策略,从事重大疾病创新药物研究。具体表现为制作和优化糖尿病、高脂血症、肥胖等经典药理动物模型,探讨上述疾病发生、发展与转归的生物学规律,寻找能有效防治该类型疾病的创新药物。
