研究领域
Dr. Tang's research interests are in developing patient-centered approaches to improving population health. Her research focuses on understanding how primary care providers and healthcare systems can: 1) prevent the development of chronic diseases, with a focus on the identification and counseling of patients who are at increased risk (i.e., patients who are overweight, who have gestational diabetes, or prediabetes); and 2) prevent the development of complications among medically complex patients. Her research integrates both quantitative and qualitative methods to understand the perspectives of patients, providers, and other stakeholders.
