个人简介

Lucus C. Christoffersen, MSN/L, RN, CEN, CPEN, CCRN, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing, Idaho State University. Professor Christoffersen specializes in Critical Care, Emergency, and Trauma nursing. He teaches Adult Health I and II, along with Adult Health Clinical and Professional Nursing Capstone. He has been in the nursing field since 2008, working in intensive care, emergency, and trauma. He has worked in Level 1 trauma centers as well as small, rural facilities. He has been an Emergency Department Manager, Educator, and worked with Life Flight Ground Transport. He has board certifications in Emergency, Pediatric Emergency, and Critical Care Nursing. He serves as an article reviewer for the Journal of Emergency Nursing, along with test-item writing and book reviewer for ENA publications and certification exams. He is a BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC instructor, along with being a course director for TNCC and ENPC, as well as ENA faculty. He currently serves as the President of the Utah Emergency Nurses Association (2016-2018) and is a member of the ENA, AACN, and NLN. He received his ADN from Idaho State University, BSN from Boise State University, and MSN in Leadership/Management from Western Governors University. He is currently enrolled in the Ed.D. program in Instructional Design at Idaho State University with a graduation date of May 2019.
