研究领域

1. 高分辨冷冻电镜断层成像(cryo-ET)方法。高分辨cryo-ET是通过收集三维断层图像,再使用子断层图像平均法进行结构解析的前沿结构生物学方法。Cryo-ET擅长对柔性巨型分子机器、细菌、细胞进行成像和蛋白结构解析,获得具生理意义的原位结构,是结构生物学的下一个突破。 2. 新发囊膜病毒的组装及在细胞中复制活动的结构与功能。由于形态不均一,囊膜病毒的原位结构解析颇具挑战。我们使用cryo-ET解析全病毒结构,并在细胞中直接观测病毒生命活动的原位结构,希望揭示囊膜病毒的组装机制,并揭秘它们在细胞中的生命活动。最终目的是找到病毒的弱点,并为抗体、疫苗设计提供新思路。
