1979-1983,西南农业大学 本科生 1987-1990,英国诺丁汉大学 博士研究生 1990-1996,中国农业大学博士后、副教授 1996-1998,美国佐治亚医学院访问学者 1998至今,清华大学教授 荣誉、奖励及参加学术团体的情况 获得何梁何利科技进步奖、谈家桢生命科学成就奖等奖励。现任中国动物学会理事长,中国遗传学会副理士长;先后任National Science Open、National Science Reviews、Development、Journal of Molecular Cell Biology、Open Biology、BMC Developmental Biology、Journal of Cell Science、Current Zoology、Journal of Genetics and Genomics、Cell Research、Mechanisms of Development等杂志编委会或顾问委员会成员

研究领域

研究领域为脊椎动物胚胎早期发育的分子机制。主要以斑马鱼和小鼠为模式动物,研究胚胎卵裂期和早期囊胚的细胞命运决定机制、胚层诱导和分化的调控机制、背-腹轴和头-尾轴的形成机制等,重点关注卵源因子在这些发育过程中的作用。
