My overall area of interest is Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice. Specifically, my research has focused on diabetes mellitus in the adult population, both clinically (pharmacist role in medications use, diabetic peripheral neuropathy survey research) and in the form of meta-analyses (published meta-analyses: pramlintide, linagliptin, DPP-4 inhibitors in CKD patients) of medications used to treat diabetes. I am also interested in conducting research on the effect of anticoagulants on the gastrointestinal system and their relevant clinically-significant drug interactions. Other areas of interest include survey research of various populations (students, administrators, patients).
