The main research interests of the LU group are (i) the metabolic versatility and regulatory mechanisms in P. aeruginosa; and (ii) exploration of new molecular targets for antibacterial development. Currently we are working on three projects:
1. Functional Genomics of D-Amino Acid Metabolism in P. aeruginosa
2. Molecular Mechanisms of Resistance and Stress Response against Polyamine Toxicity in Bacteria
3. Modulation of Type III Secretion System (T3SS) in P. aeruginosa by Environmental Cues
