全国优秀教师，国务院政府特殊津贴专家，现任广州医科大学副校长、广州医科大学卫生职业技术学院院长，兼任中国药理学会心血管药理专业委员会常务理事、广东省药理学会心血管药理专业委员会主任委员。

研究领域

主要研究心肌肥厚与心力衰竭的发病机制及防治、糖尿病心肌病和糖尿病伤口愈合延迟发病机制及防治新策略。
