1993年考取国费奖学金赴日攻读博士 1997年3月于日本国立琦玉大学获博士学位(Ph. D) 1997.04― 日本三菱公司生命科学研究所博士后 / 外国人研究员 2000.07― 日本理化研究所前沿研究部门研究员 2002.09― 日本北里大学医学院客座教授（Visiting Professor） 2001.09― 中国医学科学院药物研究所研究员 2013.05― 中国医学科学院神经科学中心副主任 2014.10― 湖南中医药大学药学院院长

研究领域

主要从事神经药理学、神经分子生物学、中药药理学、神经系统疾患及炎症相关疾患的创新药物开发及机理研究。主要研究内容包括：1、抗神经退行性疾病（PD/AD）创新药物研发及机制分析; 2、荧光可视化技术在神经精神系统药物研究中的应用; 3、抗抑郁症创新药物研发及机制分析；4、抗脑缺血创新药物研发及机制研究; 5、基于CKLF1为靶点的创新药物研发及机制分析; 6、天然产物及中药创新药物的发现及作用机制研究。
