研究领域

Dr. Brousseau's research focuses on Marine Ecology. Most recently she has bean involved in the study of immunological mechanisms used by shellfish to defend against infections from environmental pathogens. Past research interests include the study of ecological impacts of the invasive Asian shore crab on native biota in Long Island Sound and the study of parasitic disease in oysters (Perkinsus marinus) and hematopoietic neoplasms in clams and mussels. She has been a Visiting Investigator at the National Marine Fisheries Laboratory in Milford, Conncecticut since 1999. She has also collaborated with investigators at the Marine Biological Laboratory, the New England Aquarium, and SalemSound Coastwatch.
