西南农业大学(现西南大学)农学学士学位(1983)、硕士学位(1986)和博士学位(1996)。 1998.10-2000.9日本九州大学生物系遗传学研究室博士后 2002.02-2004.1日本东京大学农学部生物统计学与生物信息学实验室JST研究员 2004.02-2006.1英国伯明翰大学生物科学学院研究职员。 2006年全职回国服务,2008年国务院特殊津贴获得者。 1986年7月-2006年1月西南农业大学农学系讲师、副教授、教授 2006年2月-2007年12月西南大学蚕学与系统生物学研究所二级教授、博导; 2008.1至今重庆大学生命科学学院副院长,二级教授,博士生导师。
