The synthesis and characterization of inorganic and organometallic complexes. Specific interests include the synthesis of novel, conducting, boron containing polymers and the catalytic diboration of unsaturated organic substrates. Recent studies have focused on the synthesis and reactivity of aldiminoborane complexes including reactivity studies with transition metal complexes and applications of Suzuki coupling in the formation of ligands for the synthesis of metal organic framework materials (MOFs).
