She graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Bachelor of Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2000. She then completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and an Infectious Diseases Specialty Residency at a joint program provided through Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Sucher has been recognized as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist since 2003. Prior to coming to Regis University, she was an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she taught from 2002 to 2009. She teaches primarily in the Integrated Pharmacotherapy Sequence at Regis University’s School of Pharmacy, in their program’s unique integrated, Team-Based Learning curriculum. She practices as an Infectious Disease/Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist at St. Anthony North Health Campus, where she precepts pharmacy students. Her main goal as a teacher is for students to not only understand and retain information, but to develop critical thinking skills that will enhance their ability to perform as effective practitioners.
