个人简介

1994年毕业于安徽蚌埠医学院临床医学专业，获医学学士学位。1997年获中山医科大学寄生虫学硕士学位，同年留校工作于中山医科大学寄生虫学教研室。2000年以联合培养形式去美国Tufts University从事博士论文课题研究，2001年获得医学博士学位。2001-2003年在美国Tufts University大学从事博士后研究工作。2003-2010在美国University of Illinois at Chicago从事科研工作，并于2006年在该校担任研究助理教授。2010年作为中山大学海外引进人才在中山医学院工作，聘为中山大学教授、博导。

研究领域

主要研究华支睾吸虫的致病机制，包括如肝吸虫致肝纤维化及肝胆管癌的发生发展机制。探讨华支睾吸虫分泌排泄产物中通过直接或间接途径来活化肝星状细胞而引起肝纤维化的特异蛋白分子，并研究其致肝纤维化的具体分子机制。此外，华支睾吸虫感染与胆管癌之间的联系亦是重要研究内容。还研究恶性疟原虫入侵人红细胞的分子机制，从而为疟疾疫苗及抗疟药物的研制奠定基础。
