个人简介

1995年获美国波士顿塔夫兹大学生命医学学院分子和细胞生理学博士学位 1995年-1998年于哈佛大学医学院细胞生物学系、麻省理工学院(MIT)生物系从事博士后工作 1998年起 在美国贝勒医学院任助理教授,历任副教授、正教授和讲席教授 2009年受聘为中山大学教授 2009-2015年,任中山大学生命科学学院院长 2011至今中山大学抗衰老中心主任、广州市抗衰老重点实验室主任

研究领域

研究重点主要围绕衰老和再生的分子机制 研究方向包括:干细胞生长与分化、肿瘤生长和人体衰老机制、细胞端粒的结构、端粒蛋白的功能与作用机理、DNA损伤与修复、蛋白质间相互作用和信号传导网络、功能基因的高通量筛选和鉴定
