中南大学材料物理与化学国家重点学科三级教授, 博士生导师, 留学回国人员,先后在澳大利亚和美囯从事访问学者研究。

研究领域

纳米功能材料的设计、制备及表征,高性能铜合金。主要有: 铁电(压电)铁磁(压磁)复合材料及其在太阳能、光学、能源领域中的应用; 锂离子电池用正负极材料及高温燃料电池用电解质材料、储能用高介电材料; 第一性原理方法计算上述功能氧化物、硼化物材料的微结构与性能; 弓网导线用Cu-Cr-Zr,冷凝管用铜合金,高强耐磨Cu-Zn-Ni-Al合金 。 研究特色: 以固体物理的基本理论和第一原理计算方法为基础,以功能材料微观结构为桥梁,构架材料制备工艺--微观结构--特性关系规律,设计和开发新型功能材料。
