研究领域
We use computational approaches from engineering and the physical sciences to study biological processes relevant to human health.
Biological systems are exceedingly complex: they are multi-scale, nonlinear, and subject to noise at the molecular level. This complexity means that computer models are vital for uncovering mechanistic principles based on varied experimental data.
Our focus is immune system dynamics and regulation. A major goal is to develop computer simulation tools that can predict therapeutic interventions to treat or prevent disease.
