Electroactive Organic Materials

My research focuses on the discovery and development of new electroactive organic materials. Specifically, we are pursuing unique design strategies for constructing highly conjugated structures with tailored physical properties. Towards this end, we will look to pioneer new catalytic reaction methodologies to facilitate complex molecule synthesis. Ultimately we aim to study how these novel materials perform in electronic devices, in order to improve upon current benchmarks in organic field-effect transistor and solar cell technologies.
