Dr. Fabry is a biological oceanographer whose research interests encompass the role of marine organisms in geochemical cycles. Her current research is focused on:
the sensitivity of calcareous organisms and marine ecosystems to elevated carbon dioxide and ocean acidification;
the dissolution kinetics of biogenic calcium carbonates in the upper ocean.
