个人简介
Lisa Shamansky received a B.S. in Chemistry from Indiana University (1980) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Illinois (1986). She was a post-doctoral fellow at Synergen, Inc. (a biotechnology company in Boulder, Colorado) from 1986-87 and at the University of California, Riverside in the Biomedical Sciences Department from 1988-89. After teaching at CSUSB for two years as a lecturer, Dr. Shamansky was appointed as assistant professor in 1991, promoted to associate professor in 1996, and promoted to professor in 2002.
Dr. Shamansky is a biochemist with specialization in biosensors and molecular biology. She has twelve publications and multiple papers presented at national and international meetings.

Dr. Shamansky is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Association of University Women, and the Council on Undergraduate Research.
Dr. Shamansky successfully participated in the Los Angeles marathon in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008!
