研究领域

I currently do not have an active research program, however I am active in bringing technology into the classroom. In my general chemistry course I use PowerPoint(R) to present my lectures using animation to create a virtual chalkboard. I also use the Thomson, Brookes/Cole OWL web based learning system that supports the Kotz general chemistry text we use at CSUS. I will be testing out an in-class response system next fall using "classroom clickers" to enhance student partcipation in the lecture portion of the course. In additon to the technology aspect of teaching, I serve on the editorial review board for the next edition of the Kotz, Treichel and Weaver general chemistry text.
