Dr. Thangavel's research interests are in supramolecular chemistry, aerobic oxidation and molecular switches. Specifically, his interests focus on enantiodiscrimination by supramolecular interactions, higher Fullerenes extraction by using host-guest chemistry, and stimuli responsive supramolecular systems.
