研究领域

Dr. Singh's research program is on cell and molecular biology of lung inflammation. There are projects focused on mechanisms of neutrophil and monocyte migration into inflamed lungs, biology of pulmonary intravascular macrophages and environmental pulmonary toxicology. A newer component of his research program is focused on nanomedicine. He has received funding from NSERC (Discovery and Equipment Grants), NSERC-NanoInnovation Platform Grants, Alberta Agriculture Funding Consortium, Saskatchewan Agriculture Development Fund, and the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation. Awards and Journal Editorship: He has received Young Investigator Awards from the American Association of Anatomists (2000 and 2001) and European Respiratory Society (2002), as well as the Pfizer Award for Research Excellence (2002). Dr. Singh is an associate editor of the Journal of Occupational Medicine and Toxicology and a section editor (Immunology) of Cell and Tissue Research.
