2004年：获天津大学材料科学与工程博士学位

1989年7月—1993年3月，天津大学材料系教师，学生工作

2004年9月—现在，天津大学材料学院

研究领域
研究方向一：作为聚合加工中的基本科学与技术问题，多相聚合物体系相结构形成与演变的化学物理问题、聚合物原位合金化及其结构与分形行为和在线分析，是重要的研究方向。
研究方向二：利用环境气体二氧化碳，探讨了二氧化碳等离子体对有机单体的引发聚合，及各种气体等离子体对基质材料的表面处理与改性。
