Personal Information Graduated with PhD in materials Science from Cambridge Universityunder full sponsorship of Overseas research scholarship (ORS), United Kingdom Cambridge trust, Graduate scholarship of Selwyn college. Her early career started with successful Lab-to-Fab technology transfer for Seagate Technology, the leading hard-disk company in the world. Her more recent work is related with functional coatings in energy saving and flexible electronic devices. She has won 2016 TechConnect Innovation Award in Washington. She has published more than 120 journal papers including some INVITED REVIEWs and highlighted COVER PAPER for those top materials and energy related journals (SCIENCE, JOULE, CHEMICAL SOCIETY REVIEWS, ADVANCED ENERGY MATERIALS, ADVANCED FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS, ACS NANO, MATERIALS HORIZON)

Our research focuses on developing functional materials by nanostructuring manipulation, eg. superlattice, controlled porosity, hybrid structure, biomimetic surface fabrication and etc, to give materials with a greater range of properties than is usually obtained. Our major researches include smart window for energy saving, flexbile devices, soft electronics and nanodevice fabrications.
