个人简介
Carey Bissonnette's current research interest is in chemical education: trying to identify key threshold concepts in courses he teaches, exploring how to help students master those concepts by researching and using evidence-based best practices, and learning more about how to become an effective chemistry teacher.
He is the Senior Teaching Fellow for the Faculty of Science.

研究领域
Carey Bissonnette's current focus is on chemical education; researching and using evidence-based best practices for the courses he teaches. Formally, however, his training is in the development of theoretical models and computational methods for studying collisional energy transfer, gas-phase reactions, and spectroscopy and photodissociation of weakly bound molecular complexes.
His long-term personal interests lie in critically assessing established theoretical or conceptual models, developing new models and using computational methods to test various models. Discussion of or examples of these things creep into most of the courses he teaches.
