研究领域

Genetics of Joint Contractures The elucidation of the molecular mechanisms involved in the pathophysiology of joint contractures and the identification of pharmacological interventions to restore the normal range of motion of joints. Methods of high throughput sequencing, gene expression, temporal and functional analyses are applied to identify profiles of gene expression altered in the capsule tissue. The objective of our research is to restore the normal range of motion of joints. Learning concepts in molecular biology Videos are produced to favor the learning and application of concepts related to the field of molecular biology by undergraduate students outside the classroom. The impact of the pedagogical intervention on learning and on academic performance is measured using quantitative analysis and modeling approaches.
