主要从事有关材料设计、制备、加工和结构表征方面的研究工作,具体包括: 1. 新型镁铝合金开发与加工; 2. 金属复合材料的制备与成形; 3. 不锈钢的强韧化及塑性加工; 4. 能源材料的设计与结构表征。
