个人简介

Dr. Sahand Ashtab received his doctorate in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from University of Windsor in 2016. Prior to joining the Cape Breton University in August 2016, he was a sessional instructor at the Odette School of Business at the University of Windsor and a research associate at the Cross Border Institute, also at the University of Windsor. He also served as Head of Canterbury College, affiliated with University of Windsor, in years 2013-15. Dr. Ashtab has been involved in several applied research projects, and he is a co-winner of the 2013 CORS (Canadian Operational Research Society) Practice Prize for a project “A Network Optimization Model for TDL Group Inc.”. His research interests are supply chain management and operations research and his work has appeared in journals such as International Journal of Supply Chain Management and INFOR.
