Current Research Interests
Our main research interests are fabrication and application of nanomaterials. Applications of carbon nanotubes as field emitters and gas sensors have been studied intensively by our group. Graphene is our new material of interest. Also, we are interested in the fabrication of solar cells using porous titanium oxide films as an electron acceptor and carbon nanotubes as an electrode. Another project involves SERS (surface enhanced Raman scattering) spectroscopy, particularly on silver nanorods fabricated on anodic aluminum oxide templates. Our goal is to develop SERS as a biosensor.
