Current Research Interests The objective of our research group is the development of biosignal-responsive functional materials. Biosignals such as pH, temperature, reduction potentials, ionic strength can be used as the trigger for the effective control of the functional material activity. Based on the specificity and efficiency, the biosignal-responsive functional materials can be applied into the various fields, ranged from the bioimaging of the cells in the fundamental cell biology to the treatment of diseases in the clinical frontiers.
