Dr. Charles Park is a graduate of the UBC’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado-Denver. Aside from a passion for teaching, Dr. Park has experience in a variety of pharmacy practice settings including Pharmacy Owner/Manager. Aside from his teaching duties, Dr. Park works as a casual Pharmacist at BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital. He is also involved with the “Getting Ready” program for the CP3 program. Dr. Park is also a member of the Registration Committee for the College of Pharmacists of BC. Within the Faculty, Dr. Park is a part of the Integration Activities team who teach the pharmacy practice and clinical skills to both the BSc and E2P PharmD students. He is also a Module Lead for the E2P PharmD Program. Dr. Park is involved with the Interprofessional Education Committee as well as the Communications Working Group. He is also involved with the Student Success Program and also is a Faculty-Student Liaison. Currently, Dr. Park is the chair for the AFPC 2016 Conference Planning Committee. Dr. Park has a special teaching interest in pharmacy practice, interprofessional education, case-based learning, and small group learning. He also is a strong advocate for continuing to expand the scope of practice of pharmacists within the BC health care system.
