个人简介
Dr. Angela Kim-Sing completed a bachelor of science in chemistry at McMaster University, a bachelor of science in pharmacy at UBC, and the Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency program at Vancouver General Hospital. She completed her doctor of pharmacy at the Medical University of South Carolina. She also received her certificate in the scholarship of teaching and learning in higher education from UBC.
Previously, Dr. Kim-Sing worked as a clinical pharmacist at St. Paul's Hospital (1987–1993), a residency and staffing coordinator for Providence Health Care (1993–2004), and coordinator of the Structured Practice Education program with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC (2004–2010).She currently serves as director of the Office of Experiential Education in the Faculty.
Dr. Kim-Sing is passionate about pharmacy students adding value to patient care. She wants pharmacy students to have the knowledge and skills to provide direct patient care activities, and to make a difference and contribute to society in a meaningful way. Dr. Kim-Sing prefers teaching in small groups, where students share their reflections and learn from each other.

Dr. Kim-Sing's research interests include community service learning and its impact on student learning and professionalization, learner experiences and value added outcomes on experiential rotations, and experiential education models.
