研究领域
Current research interests include examining the scientific foundations of pharmacy education and in particular, the role, status and integration of the basic pharmaceutical sciences in contemporary learning-centered Entry-to-Practice pharmacy programs. Dr. Albon is also exploring the “teaching-scholarly teaching-SoTL-SoTL leadership” continuum with pharmacy educators to attempt to build educational scholarship and SoTL as a legitimate scholarly discipline in pharmaceutical sciences at UBC and beyond. His most recent research study is focused on examining threshold concepts in educational scholarship in pharmacy education and related faculty development opportunities necessary to build SoTL capacity in the Faculty.
