Kartika Tjandra obtained her doctorate degree in physiology from the University of Calgary in 2004. She has since taught a number of entry-level courses at the Department of Chemical and Biological Sciences, including Human Anatomy and Physiology and the General Biology courses. Besides her strong commitment to academic excellence at Mount Royal University, Dr. Tjandra also plays an active role in the community.
