Our group is interested in the synthesis, biochemical properties and molecular behavior of nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) and their analogues. A goal of this research endeavor is to gain a detailed understanding of inter- and intracellular communication between nucleic acids, and between nucleic acids and proteins. Many of our projects are chosen because of their potential impact on biotechnology.
