Dr. Nadine Milos received her BSc and PhD degrees from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario - Canada. Her field of study was embryology. Subsequently, she did a Postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Zoology at the University of Alberta, moving from there to the Department of Anatomy where she was a Scholar of the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research.
Dr. Milos moved to the Department of Dentistry in 1990 under the auspices of a Development Grant from the Medical Research Council of Canada. Her research interests encompass facial development and the mechanisms controlling cell adhesion and migration in early embryos.
