Research focuses on the modification of electrode surfaces with biological molecules for both sensing and fundamental studies. Current areas of interest include electrochemical detection of cholesterol efflux from the cell plasma membrane (in vivo and in vitro) and microfluidic electrochemical sensor platforms.
