个人简介

Dr. Chung received his B.S. from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2000 and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005. His thesis is about phase separation and wetting/dewetting of polymer blend coatings and on the effect of nanoparticles. Following his graduation, he worked at Samsung Mobile Display in Korea as a Senior Engineer. He contributed to developing prototype large-area OLED TVs, while he developed expertise in thin film transistors from ZnO-based oxide semiconductors. From 2009 to 2012, he performed research on skin-like biochemical sensors and silicon electronics for bio-integrated devices at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been a faculty member at the University of Alberta since January 2013.
