研究领域
Physical Chemistry
Fundamentally, we are interested in the fabrication of molecule/surface hybrid model systems and characterization of them at the atomic scale in ultrahigh vacuum condition by using scanning probe microscopy and other surface-science techniques. These studies are extended to the engineering nanostructures, controlling the properties of electronic materials, designing chiral heterogeneous catalyst, developing green-photocatalyst, and understanding complex biological phenomena on the surface.
Research topics
Atom resolved studies on molecular adsorption
Self and direct assembly of nanostructures at surfaces
Surface chirality and chiral heterogeneous catalysis
Photocatalysis
Chemical modification of graphene
Surface chemistry of biomaterials
