I am a Teaching Associate in the Centre for Forensic Science in the department of Pure and Applied Chemistry. I began working for the University of Strathclyde in 2012 and my current teaching and research is focussed on the investigative procedures involved in forensic science along with the identification of body fluids in assaults and sexual offences.
研究领域
My research interests focus on strategies for the enhancement of impression evidence, body fluid identification, the advancement of pedagogy in forensic science and effective use of forensic science in the broader criminal justice context. My research also incorporates validation of forensic test kits, blood pattern analysis and the effects of contextual information and confirmation bias on the analysis of footwear evidence.
