个人简介
Dr Asimina Kazakidi read Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She subsequently obtained an MSc in ‘Engineering and Physical Science in Medicine’ at Imperial College London, UK, Department of Bioengineering. She obtained her Ph.D. in Biofluid Dynamics, from the Department of Aeronautics, also at Imperial College London, where she remained as a post-doctoral research associate at the National Heart and Lung Institute, within the cardiovascular science research theme funded by the British Heart Foundation (BHF). As a research fellow, Asimina conducted research at the Foundation for Research & Technology – Hellas (FORTH), Institute of Computer Science, in Greece, participating in EU projects for future and emerging technologies and leading an individual EU-Greek research fellowship on the hydrodynamics of aquatic locomotion. She joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Strathclyde in 2016 as a Lecturer.
