个人简介

I obtained my BSc Hons in Physiology, Sports Science and Nutrition from the University of Glasgow in 2004. I went on to work within Dundee City Council as a Eating for Health Advisor in a local primary school whilst piloting a healthy eating initative in Dundee afterschools clubs. In 2006 I became a Teaching Fellow at the University of Abertay Dundee where I lectured and co-ordinated modules in the fields of Nutrition and Physiology to a wide variety of undergraduate students. I began my PhD at the University of Aberdeen in October 2012 and am currently writing my thesis. My reseach investigated the "Determinants of seafood inclusion in pre-school age children".

My primary research interest lies within the field of health, specifically within the fields of nutrition. I am extremely interested in understanding health-based lifestyle and food choices, and in dietary-based interventions for the improvement of health, with a particular emphasis on the diets of children.
