研究领域

Neurodevelopmental disorders and the impact environmental factors (stress, infection, perturbations of the gut microbiota) experienced during early life have on brain development and behaviour, particularly social and cognitive behaviours. The interplay between these environmental factors and identified risk genes, and the mechanisms by which gene-environment interactions alter the trajectory of brain development to increase the risk for schizophrenia and autism
