个人简介

1998 PhD London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

研究领域

I studied zoology and infectious disease epidemiology from training at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and both universities in Oxford. The research group comprises molecular biologists, veterinarians and entomologists, armed to understand the biological components of infectious diseases. Our research at Warwick is quantitative and applied; one main focus is on parameterizing transmission cycles in pursuit of sustainable interventions against transmission. This involves primary data generation from a diversity of endemic field-based sites with international collaborators in veterinary and human tropical medicine. This facility, linked to our high-throughput molecular laboratory at Warwick, enhances the experience and provides exciting opportunities for both UG and PG students.
