个人简介

As a Qualitative Research Fellow within the Qualitative Group, Primary Care and Population Sciences, I focus on the use of qualitative methodologies within health research. My PhD ‘Marginal Men: Men with breast cancer negotiating gender’ (University of Durham, 2014) explored the experiences of men diagnosed with breast cancer, focusing on ideas of gender, masculinity and marginality. Prior to this I achieved an MA (Distinction) in Social Research Methods (Sociology) and a BA in Sociology, both from the University of Durham. 2014: PhD, ‘Marginal Men: Men with breast cancer negotiating gender’ at the School of Applied Social Sciences, Durham University. Supervised by Dr. Tiago Moreira and Professor Ian Greener. Examined by Professor John Oliffe and Dr. Mark McCormack. 2009: MA, Social Research Methods (Sociology), Durham University. 2007: BA, Sociology, Durham University
