Undergraduate medical training at University of Wales College of Medicine to obtain MBBCh which involved a period of research at Cardiff University involving novel candidate genes in animal models for ADHD with the Behavioral Genetics Group achieving a 1st class BSc (hons). Subsequent medical training at University Hospital of Wales and Royal Gwent Hospital for Foundation Program and medical specialisation obtaining MRCP in 2012. In 2013 began Haematology specialty training at University Hospital Southampton. Interruption in specialty training for special interest in lymphoma. In 2016 began research in diffuse-large B-cell lymphoma at Southampton University.
