Dr. Lindsey S. Cherry (nee Hooper) is NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Podiatric Rheumatology within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. I currently hold an NIHR Clinical Lecturer Fellowship, allowing continuation of a joint clinical academic post between NHS and HEI organisations. In this role, I am actively engaged in clinical practice, leading the podiatric rheumatology service across Solent NHS Trust, in addition to supporting the development of clinical academic activity across community podiatry services. My current research centers on the epidemiology, clinical importance and management of foot complications in patients with inflammatory arthritis, and is embedded within the Rehabilitation and Health Technologies research team at University of Southampton. I also hold an honorary research contract at the University of Oxford, and manage a number of collaborative projects between these institutions. http://soton.academia.edu/LindseyHooper .
