Maria is a Principal Lecturer / Senior Researcher who joined the Centre for Health and Social Care in March 2008. Prior to this she was a lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University after 17 years as a physiotherapist in the NHS. Since joining the Centre she has undertaken research which predominantly focuses on older people.
