个人简介

Catherine became a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam in January 2013, and part of the Bioanalytical Research Group in the BMRC. Her research is focussed on drug metabolism and analytical procedures used to develop novel pharmacological and biomedical molecules, with a particular emphasis on ICPMS methodologies including imaging. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students across the Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Science degree programmes. She holds a BSc (Hons) Chemistry, a PhD from Imperial College London, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Learning from Keele University. She also holds FHEA, CChem and CSci status

研究领域

Analysis of Biomolecules using ICPMS Examples of projects in these areas are a) Metal homeostasis phosphorylation and the aggregation of alpha-synuclein - with Dr David Smith and Dr Caroline Dalton b) Studies into the uptake and distribution of metal oxide nanoparticles in plants – with Professor Malcolm Clench and Professor Neil Bricklebank in collaboration with Croda c) Imaging the transport and biotransformation of molecules across biological membranes - with Professor Malcolm Clench and Professor Neil Bricklebank in collaboration with Croda and Quotient
